Ole recently joined the Green Investment Group as the Head of Global Offshore Wind Project Delivery and Asset Creation and Management. He comes from a civil engineering, spending the last 20 years within the renewables sector. Based in Denmark, he’s been responsible for successfully delivering a number of national and international offshore wind farm projects.
Ole worked directly on the 300MW Thanet Offshore Wind Farm which was the world’s largest offshore wind farm on commissioning, and more recently he’s been part of the successful tender process of the Danish Near Shore Windfarm and the Kriegers Flak Windfarm in the Baltic Sea; Denmark’s largest offshore wind farm.
Throughout his career Ole has gained substantial experience within construction management, development, O&M and executive management, developing extensive knowledge of the market and full value chain. After leading teams at Statkraft, K2 Management and Vattenfall, Ole moved to Macquarie’s Green Investment Group in 2020 as the Head of Global Offshore Wind Project Delivery and Asset Creation and Management.
